GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Good smooth piney fruits. Floral fruits. Light finish. Really good light fruitiness.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 1, 02/08/22. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate white head. Nose is juicy citric flesh, grass, melon, orange peel. Taste comprises orange peel, light pine, grapefruit, melon, soft malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced juice laden hop bitterness. Not bad.

I have a 12 oz can from the local craft beer joint. Pleased to try a better NM brewery's IPAs, even if it is NE style. The tilt into a shaker glass is instructive, as impenetrable, light orange-yellow body with a stick-a-around cover of fully white foam. I take a sniff, yeah, pretty juicy. Time to take a drink. Not bad. My take of it is grapefruit, oranges, crackers, a bit of hoppiness and red zia on yellow field. More sweet than bitter. Interestingly all right.

12oz can. Pale straw color, small white head. Bready malty aroma with notes of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste brings light fruity flavors on a pillowy malt base. Really nice.

12oz can pours out hazy straw topped with a white head. Nose is over ripe citrus hops and some sweetness. Taste is more of the nice sweet hops and some grain.

Pours hazy yellow-orange with a half inch head. It smells of banana, citrus, and clove. The flavor is sweet with spicy yeast, banana, and wheat malt. Somewhat dry finish. Fairly good.

Pours deep copper with an off white head. Smells of grapefruit and pine. Loaded with bitter, citrusy, resinous hops. Solid malt body. Very good IPA. Not sure why the commercial description starts with “red”. The brewery also states that there’s no “red” malt in it (and no fruit).

Very hazy pale yellow pour with a dense, lingering white head. The aroma is big on citrusy hops. The flavor is mild to moderately bitter with lots of sweet malt and fruity accents. Quite good.
