Description

50cl bottle is a hazy yellow, white head. Nose has honey and grist and dough. Flavors all follow. A little plasticky. Cloying. Doesn't finish well. 5 4 4 3 3.5

0,5 l bottle from an eastern Europe supermarket in town. BB 08.06.26. Clear mid golden in the glass, one finger white foamy head. Caramel and smooth grainy aroma. Tastes the same but on a lower level. Little bit sweetness. Soft bitterness. Above average carbonated. Okay.

At the January 2026 DC Brewver gathering. 500ml bottle. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was sweet honey, light herbal hops. Some soapy notes. Light buttery notes, grassy. Mostly inoffensive.

At the January 2026 DC Brewver gathering. 500ml bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma was... odd. Sweet, with some hops. I joked that this could be the honey lager instead of the IPA. Honey, sweetness, grain, buttery notes.

Aromas are malt, yeast, spices and spoiled fruit. Flavors are similar to nose, slightly more sweet than bitter or tangy. Spoiled fruit comes out. Okay body and carbonation. One and done.

Capped 500 from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours translucent gold with a huge foamy white head that slowly laced. Aroma of citrus, light spice and a little malty breadiness. Med body. Flavor is pretty much as the aroma. It's drier than not and has near moderate persisting bitterness. Definitely not WC IPA.

1 l plastic bottle from an Eastern Europe supermarket in town. BB 10.03.26. Clear dark golden in the glass, one finger white foamy head. Light grainy and a lot of honey on the nose. Taste starts also with more honey than grain, increasing malty. Soft but present bitterness. Below average carbonation. Okay.
