Description
COAST Brewing Company is a family owned craft brewery, on an old Navy base. We make beer we like to drink, simple and done well. We believe in choice organic and local ingredients. But it's not just about being organic, it's a certain mind set of considering the environment in everything we do. In fact, we're not certified organic and have no plans to be-we do it because we believe it's the right thing. All of our ingredients are listed including which are organic. Welcome and thanks for your continued support!

16 oz can purchased at Wine & Cheese, If You Please? on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The pour is a hazed golden with a bunch of fine carbonation bubbles and a one inch well formed white head. The aroma is a honey malt, grass and soft herbal. The taste is clean homey malt sweet with grass and herbal notes. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and the hay sweet malt finish. Overall solid take on the style.

22oz bottle pours a thick black with some foamy, tan head. Nose has a ton of licorice and molasses, booze, bread, caramel, dark chocolate. Flavor is very chewy with malt and molasses, licorice, coffee, chocolate, burnt caramel. Full bodied but also dry. Well nuanced, lots of character.

Yar, from a 500ml bottle. Poured a dark caramel cola color with a small wispy off-white head, as dark as yar soul matey. Aroma was light dark fruits, some bitter dark chocolate. Flavor more heavy on the dark fruits, light bitter chocolate.

Quite nice. Lots of dark chocolate and roast. Creamy thick pour with mocha head. Finish bitter like a list pirate booty. Great balance like a ship on the horse latitudes. Bottle from Charleston beer exchange.

16 oz can purchased as a single at Wine & Cheese, If You Please? on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a ½ inch dirty white head. The aroma is floral resin hops with some sweet malt behind. The taste is bright hop bitterness, along with sweet cereal grain malt. The malt sweetness carries the finish. The palate is medium bodied with natural carbonation, and the sweet dry finish. Solid.

Location: Bottle shared at Max and Andy's Tasting, 2/28/15
Aroma: Has a light vegetal nose, malty hints, not much else
Appearance: Hazy amber color with an average sized off-white head
Flavor: Fairly light flavor, okay, thin, and a little dull
Palate: The body is light-medium, average carbonation, okay overall feel
Overall Impression: There's not a ton going on here, kind of a dull beer, what is going on is kind of vegetal, and not in a not great way. Eh...
