Draught keg at Three Wise Monkeys, Ipswich. Dark brown, a little translucent with a thin film of beige/khaki head. Milky aroma, some Robusta coffee, light chocolate. Pleasant if not overly impressive. Loving the taste though, gently sweet without overpowering, and a very light balancing bitterness near the finish. It dosant blow you away with its presence but it doesn't need to. An enjoyable pre-match beer.

Keg at the brewpub. Opaque yellow with a white head. Pine and grapefruit and herbs. Fairly dank. More like a hazy west coast than a New England. Not for me, dank is not my thing.

Keg at the brewpub. Yellowy-gold with a faint haze and a white head. Tropical and citrus flavours. Good balance of sweetness and bitterness. Crisp yet juicy. Very moreish. I liked this one.

Keg at the brewpub. Gold with a white head and a light haze - pale by Vienna lager standards whatever the brewer claims. Sweetish caramel and butter up front, with a grassy bitterness coming through. Quite crisp. Pleasant.
