Cloudy yellow body and some soft foam, smells of very weak hops and sweet grain. Flavour is almost nothing, maybe some slight hop bitterness. Full mouthfeel with okay oiliness. It seems all right if you were looking for beer but there's no character here.

Pale brown, but waaaaaayyy too pale for a stout. Vanilla, well, that's abundant both in the nose and palate. Some harsh whiskey as well. But yeasty, clunky, the base beer is all wrong and really, when you look at your stout and it's pale brown, you know it's gone wrong. Trying to barrel your way out of a bad brew is just cynical and reflects poorly on the enterprise, as it indicates a real lack of respect for the customer. Just dump it already.

Soft bitterness. Piney hop accents. Malts are really sticky, don't do much to support the hop character, so it's this clashy, middling thing that doesn't seem to really come together.

Tart, but also pretty wonky. The base sour has a lot of issues. Diacetyl for sure, maybe pedio. Nothing good, anyway.

It's got moderate tartness, but it's dirty. Light body, random off-notes, this is just clumsy stuff.

Hazy, grainy, low bitterness. Pretty rustic, and not in a good way. No real lager character, but not any kveiky character either. Why on earth do people use these yeast strains? Has kveik ever made an improvement over a more traditional yeast for any style?

Husky and grainy, kinda yeasty, too. Low bitterness, but the malt sweetness doesn't have much refinement either. Okay touch of hop aromatics.

Lots of rye on this one, and fairly bitter as well. The malts are just okay, but it's definitely one of their better brews this early on in their existence.

Toasty aroma. Pale brown. Murky-looking. Really rustic and no lager character to speak of, not even rustic lager character. Looks like a mess and doesn't get any better after that.
