Very boozy for 8%, with a hoppy astringency conflicting with an otherwise suitably juicy IPA. Not bad, just a little askew.

Kind of a weird IPA; looks like a classic WCIPA, very burnt orange rather than straw. POG notes are there, but the bitterness is a tad pronounced for the style and the texture’s boozy for the ABV. Decent.

Straightforward, caramel and wheat bread and a touch of dried fruit with a minor mineral-pine bitterness on the back end. Not bad, just basic.

Gentle but with a ton of malt character, toasted bread and roasted nuts and a touch of apple, finished off by lingering toast and a modest floral bitterness.

Draft at Ocmulgee Brewpub. Clear dark bronze color with a small beige head. Another beer with no aroma. I taste the cinnamon and honey and ginger, but the cinnamon is the strongest. Medium body and low carbonation. Very sweet. Tastes like fall. The 7.4% ABV is invisible.

Draft at Ocmulgee Brewpub. Clear bronze color with no head. No aroma at all. Malty with good caramel flavor. Zero bitterness. Fairly flat mouthfeel. Needs more body. Clean, smooth and sweet. Low carbonation.

Draft at Ocmulgee Brewpub. Clear, very dark amber color with a beige head. No aroma at all. The caramel flavor is very sweet, almost maple-like, followed by the usual amber ale hoppy finish. Sweeter than most amber ales, and less hoppy too. Medium body and carbonation.

Draft at Ocmulgee Brewpub. Clear yellow color with a small white head. No aroma whatsoever. Flavor of a pale laber with a little bit of citrus, with a slightly creamier body than a typical pale lager. Light body and a crispy mouthfeel. Clean and easy drinking. No bitterness.

Beautiful pour, but it’s downhill from there. Funky wet grain sweetness from the malt mixed with slight grapefruit and honeydew from the hops. Pine bitterness in the finish followed by bready yeast notes. Sloppy, but not undrinkable.

In a flight at the brewpub, very dark brown and medium bodied. Flavor has chocolate and coffee, but burnt malt detracts.
