Cerveza Light Lager from La Cerveceria Astilleros

Weak clear light yellow body and very little foam. Possibly some weak toilet water on the nose, but it's so hard to tell. Taste is very slight honey, vague grain, ending very very wet. Sure, it's  light lager but that's no excuse for the bad habits exhibited here.

Agave Hazy Pale Ale from La Cerveceria Astilleros

Very nice foam on a cloudy medium yellow body. Good agave and peach on the nose, sharp and fresh. Taste is a mellow agave, slight grain, ending chalky and a little wet. Smells nice but ends underwhelming.

Poured from the tap. Clear pale blonde with small white head. Lots of lime, hint of salt. Really hides the rest of the beer. Poured from the tap. Quite hazy bright yellow with small white head. Passionfruit, touch of lacto. Seems more like a Passionfruit kettle sour.

Black Corn Dark Lager from La Cerveceria Astilleros

Poured from the tap. Dark brown with small light beige head. Mild caramel and toasted nuts with a subtle black corn chip quality. Forgettable yet decent (my top rating for this brewery so far).

Poured from the tap. Deep mahogany brown with small off-white head. Mild caramel malt, hint of toasted nuts, and a touch of soap. Looks good, tastes slightly off.

Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy pale blonde with small white head. Vague mango, touch of grain, almost has a slight yogurty note. Is this subtle kettle sour hybrid? It’s not a kolsch, but it’s not terrible.
