About
Sofia Electric Brewing was started as an idea behind a terminal in 2018 by Simeon Parvanov. After long and somewhat painful process the brewery finally started fermenting beers in the heart of Sofia in June 2020.

Joined by head brewer Remy Chaloner, the team tries to create beers that bring satisfaction and create opportunities for our community.

Not bad, sweet with notes of fruity hop purée, light bitterness, some tangerine, melon, peach. A little sweet but has some nice fruity character.

Keg at CBJ, Bermondsey, 25/03/2026.
Murky orange topped with an off white cap that retains well.
Nose is bitter orange, grass, pine needle, mandarin.
Taste comprises raw pineapple, grass, ripe melon, grapefruit.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with danko come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Not bad.

Rich and quite sweet. But syrupy, boozy. Mild earth. Toffee, stewed berries, vanilla, brown sugar, wood. Not bad, but simple.

Nice up front but the finish is dominated by buttered popcorn notes. Some tropical accents are the high point.

Tap at craft beer junction. A medium sweet z big nutty malts, hazelnut alcohol, peanut butter, alcohol. Flavour is composed of medium sweet Sticky, chewy malts, peanut butter peanut brittle, alcohol,.. Palate is semi sweet Sticky, chewy, alcohol, warmth.

Keg at CBJ. Near clear dark brown beer, short lived bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, a very slight viscosity, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, good rich dark chocolate. Lots of floral cinnamon, mildly spicy. Some almondy nuttyness. Smooth finish. Interesting.
