Description
When the young Viennese banker Franz Schaup started brewing beer in 1858, he did not expect his small brewery to develop into one of the most successful breweries in Austria over the years.

In the meantime, the Zipf brewery near the Attersee has a proud 13 beers and 3 types of hops, the refreshment with hop lemonade for adults, to their range. A total of 170 employees work directly at the location in Zipf. They are the ones who ensure that everything runs smoothly every day and are responsible for a large part of the success of the Zipfer brand.

Despite the numerous technical innovations and a merger with Brau Union Österreich AG in 1970, the careful use of resources and brewing with natural hops were always in the foreground.

A nice fruity wheaty aroma with an underlying sweetness. The color is an unclear brown and it has a fine though disappearing head. The flavor is very nice, sweet, wheaty, fruity, oranges, and lime. It has almost no bitterness. The body is well rounded.

Bottled. Pale golden. Some cereals, a lot of water, a lot of fizz. Sweet and unclean. Freaking useless, except perhaps to water plants with.

subdued wheat aroma with a little citrus. Light orange and cloudy. Large white head. Medium sweetness for the style, with a refreshing citrus bite at the end. Medium body. However, lacks the quality and abundance of aromas and flavors of many other wheats.

Bottled. Orange to brown body, not too hazy, under a frothy head. This was an older bottle, so some of the haze may have been in the sedimentation. Retains a hint of dark roasted flavor, but lots of tiny bubbles from the wheat. German hops pretty well balanced.

Blond color. Lemon soda aroma. Dry taste, too weak body and malt, correct bitterness, pretty strong final. Quite boring.
