Flavour is composed of semi sweet, dry wheat, grassy, waxy citrus, tangerine, mango. Palate is drying wheat, spicy, light tang. Highish carbonation.

Tap@Craft Beer Junction, London (04/06/2022) - New 🇬🇧 brewery ✅ opaque hazed yellow with a white head. Medium sweet with notes of tangerine and apricot, grapefruit, light malty support, piney balanced bitter hoppy finish. Alright.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Premier Hop. Pours milky gold with a frothy, white head. Medium sweet, super oaty, some flinty notes, pine needles, crisp pale mats, lemon rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly pithy finish, more pale bread, oats, citrus rind, some grapefruit pith. Alright.

Can from the Lancashire Bottle Shop. Pours a murky yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of tropical fruit, guava, papaya. Taste has some citrus and grape. Light sweet finish.

Can from the Virtual Salford Independent Beer Festival box for the Thursday night. Aroma had sour berries and milk with some malty chocolate and a touch of peanut butter. Darkest brown. Foamy beige head. Medium-heavy bitter - coffee and liqourice. At first there is some nutty sweetness but it is pushed aside. Develops berry sourness. It's into the finish where burnt caramel sweetness sweetness and a touch of creamy chocolate and latent peanut butter appear. However it's the bitterness that is consistent throughout. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. If I hadn't been aware that it was supposed to be a peanut butter and chocolate Impy it's fair to say that I would have been more impressed. Those two elements become more evident as it warms up but they are overpowered by the bitterness. Despite this it's still any enjoyable rich beer.
