On tap at Pivovarsky Klub, Praha. Slight hazy golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild wheaty nose. Weak yeasty, wheaty and grassy with notes of barnyard. Quite poor weizen, expected better beer. This one is 11 so I think that the ABV is wrong.

On draught at Zly Časy v Praze: Cloudy, medium-sized firm off-white head, orange peel and coriander in the aroma, accompanied by a small yeasty feeling, moderate bitter-sweet flavour, soft and light bodied, increasing bitterness and tartness towards the fruity-yeasty . finish. A fine belgian Wheat, tastier than most of the belgian samples...........

Draught. Sour fruit aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Big stable creamy light brown head. The flavour is slightly lactic with some sweetish fruit notes. Raisin, plum and prune. Quite rough bitterness in the finish. Some ginger notes in the finish, hint of urine. It took me a while to figure out if I liked this beer, turns out that I do not really.

Draught at Pivovarsky Klub as Manila Kukuřičné. Mild buttery aroma, perhaps it is just maltiness. Hazy pale yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour has some paper, OK maltiness. Good breadiness. Grassy hoppiness, mild but OK.

Draught @ plan b. Dark brown with a medium beige head aroma had sweet and hard roasted malt, caramel and butter. Flavor had plenty of hard roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Finished sweet. Not bad and a pleasant amount of butter.

1.5l PET bottle bought at Zly Casy. This beer is called "Murder of Nusle", by which the huge Nusle bridge in Prague is meant. This is a 17° polotmavy special, which looks rather dark in the glass. Hazy amber-brown colour, with a small beige head. Aroma of malt and herbs. Full-bodied, intensively malty with flavours of roasetd malts, caramel and herbs. Pleasantly hoppy, especially in the dry and bitter finish.

on tap at Zly Casy beer festival. Hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Medium-bodied, malty-sweet with clear flavours of sweetcorn. Not as sweet as other beers with corn I’ve tasted, the sweetcorn is very well integrated into the beer which makes it a real pleasure to drink. A nice summer beer.

on tap at Zly Casy beer festival. Slightly unclear golden yellow with a large white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, malty-sweet with shy but nice hop flavours in the lingering finish. Bitter-sweet with the emphasis on the sweetness. A delicious full-bodied and well-rounded Bohemian Pilsener.
