Pours hazy amber with no head. Aroma has notes of honey, blueberry, vanilla and alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet and light sour with a long warm, vanilla, blueberry and honey finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Tap at Winter Affair 2026. Brownish body. Sweet caramelly, berry, sourish clean sweet mead aroma. Sweetish, tart caramelly, berry honeyish taste. Another Marlobobo winner!

From the magnum at Winter Affair 2026. Long, looong line for it - and just having read that only 14 bottles were made, I'm not shocked at all, though it must have been partly people seeing people wait and then FOMO-ing in... And the line wasn't just made worse by lone line hoppers (like Gurthnar hahah), those are okay, a person here and there is normal, but some quasi-human garbage made a parallel line a few minutes before the session started, 20 people or so long - not sure I've seen something like this at beer fests so far anywhere - south, east, north or west of Prague... pathetic really. But anyway, was the wait worth it, disregarding the rareness of it all?
Yes, yes it was. Murky red body. Fruity gummy caramel and vanilla in the aroma, berries. Vanilla, gum, wood, some berries, smooooooth taste, clean, pleasant honey and, yes, more vanilla - and, though intense, it somehow isn't too much. Excellent, eeexcellent flavored mead!

Bottled at Winter Affair 2026. Red body. Enormous caramel and vanilla blasts in the aroma, along with alcohol and a bit less fruit, smooth. Caramel, vanilla, berry touches, smooth notes, honey, clean, warming, tasty! The barrel and vanilla took over, and I'm not complaining!

Bottle at Winter Affair 2026. Deep amber-red body. Lovely combination of full honey and well integrated strawberry-like notes. Smooth, sweet taste, fresh honey notes, bit sugary, but with excellent "strawberry" notes. Simply but - an excellent flavored, dessert mead!

Tap at Zichovec Winter Affair 2026. Too boozy, sharp alco. Also the honey is rather waxy. Lacks a bit of sophistication. Average.

A bit too waxy hops (whatever I meant by this), but otherwise great, decadent, very tasty. Red fruity kind of stuff, with some sour cherryish tartness.
