375mL bottle, brewed January 2020, drunk 6/25/22. Clear cola-maple. Off-white head is fleeting. Coffee, burnt sugar, maple, red fruit and fruity belgian esters. Certainly a pleasant aroma. Good fruitiness, good acidity but not too much so, nor any big acetic notes. In the mouth it's sour and fruity but not sharp. A bit on the thin side, body-wise. Some definite soy and light oxidation. Gaining some balsamic vinegar on the finish. Yeah, like Phillybeer rates, it's not fantastic by any means. Just too thin and tart without enough body. Interesting sherry-like notes but ultimately just too thin/acidic.
