Draft at Kincaid’s in Bloomington. Hazy amber orange pour. Creamy beige cap. Fruity malt aroma has herbal hop notes. Bittersweet malty flavor. Notes of grapefruit and lime . Medium bodied and flavorful. Light piney notes on backend. Tasty.

Draft at Red Cow (50th & France) in Minneapolis. Hazed yellow gold pour. Small white ring. Light fruity aroma hints at pistachio. Soft, sweet palate. Mild citrus and sweet pistachio. Light malty finish. Pleasant.

Tap at Indeed MKE. Kind of a dulled orange-tan look. Steady thin white head. Great hop combination, Strata leads but the is quite fleshed out by the other two. A little different in body with the different yeast, balanced and enjoyable for the style.

Tap at Indeed. The barrel is mild, but adds some unique depth, perhaps muting the hop tone though. Malty, deep caramel and bready tones. Mellow carbonation, a pinch under for a Maibock. OK.

Tap at Indeed. Kind of a resinous old school NW aroma. But hard to tell all the way. The hops are so full and rich that I would just call this IPL. Hops are a little dank, vegetal, not really giving it much bitterness. OK.

Tap, on the menu as the 2023 release - Pours black with a very small tan head. Smells of chocolate, roast malt, and rum. The rich flavor is of oak, rum, chocolate, roast malt, and coffee. Full bodied and delicious.
