12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 5/17/21. Chesnut brown, large fizzy brown head, fair retention. Aroma of chai, ginger, nutmeg. Taste is chai, stone fruit, ginger, nutmeg. Decent balance, definite spice character. Maybe the lactose does something, but I'm not really noticing it. Overall decent.

On tap at Indeed MKE. Filtered straw colored body. Foamy, glass lacing white head. Really nails it for the style. Smooth lager tone. Creamy smooth body, with a soft hop balance and mellow, well attenuated sweetness. Excellent.

Growler from Drunk Uncle, previously rated I am sure. Muted hop tone, mostly just creamy wheat/oat sweetness. Not really impressive for the style, rather dull. Drinkable, not off, just rather uninspired.

Tap at Indeed right behind the Costa Rica one. Smooth brown sugar tones, brownie. Not sure if I really discern a big difference. The flavor is more rounded perhaps, less coffee more toffee. A really tasty beer. Aroma maybe a little nicer than the Costa ? Shoulda done the flight I guess.

Tap at Indeed MKE. Big Cacao tone doubles down with the sweet dark malts. Brownie tone, but still balanced, some faint noble hops in the background. My first of the four Cacao variations. Light coffee notes, cinnamon, vanilla.

Tap at Drunk Uncle. Clean, pleasant lager. Has some malt and lager tone. Toasty malt, minimal hop tone. Good.

On tap at Drunk Uncle. Unfiltered orange-tan body, glass lacing white head. A pretty decent IIPA, rindy citrus bite, some mild juicy tones as well. Drinks on the mellow side for a double ipa, more like a strong california regular IPA. OK.

On tap at Ray J’s. Pours a near clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet creamy grains with a bit pistachio coming through. Flavor combines creamy sweet grains and pistachio with a hint of cookie in the finish.

On tap at Indeed, must have just gone on. A true to style, really well done Kolsch. Unfiltered looking yellow-tan body, frothy glass lacing white head. Zesty, peppery hop balance. Great beer.
