Keg at MKE Burger - Appleton, 5/29/19. Black, large creamy dark brown head, good retention. Aroma of oak, rum, coffee, roast, harsh booze. Almost acetone. Taste is oak, vanilla, roast, whiskey, caramel, chocolate. Full bodied, booze is very harsh. A bit of a train wreck.

12 ounce can from Total Wine Greenfield, 5/26/19. Slightly hazy gold, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of citrus, honey, pale malt. Taste is honey and pale malt, some citrus in the finish. Thin, crushable. Decent beer.

16 ounce can from Woodman's Oak Creek, 5/17/19. I suddenly saw this everywhere all at once so I snagged this when I finally found a single. Hazy yellow, thin fizzy head, fair retention. Aroma of cheap grainy grassy lager followed by sweet honey. Kinda neat actually. Taste isgrain, honey, floral, citrus. Medium bodied, simple, well balanced. Solid beer. 50th impy pils at the moment.

Pours a slightly hazy, golden yellow, with mid-sized, lasting cap of foamy, white head. Aroma is of biscuit and malt, with some citrus and a touch of pine-hops. Flavor is crisp, with hop bitterness upfront, some citrus, biscuit. Finish is quite smooth. Not a bad beer.

Sample from the firkin at Happy Gnome. Pours a syurpy near black with no head whatsoever. Aroma has strong dark grains, roasted malts, a bit of whiskey and a hint of lemon zest underlying. Flavor has strong grain, roasted malts and whiskey with a bit of a lemon bite in the finish.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has strong oak and tart pineapple with earthy grains underlying. Flavor has earthy tart pineapple with a good amount of oak and earthy grains underlying.
