12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium toasted malt and oats. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of alcohol, oats and toasted malt. Quite robust, boozy but in a good way, and oaty. Very nice stuff.

Quite dark. Thin bubbly head. Has a fairly woody aroma. Rich taste and has a nice mellow, if difficult to distinguish wood character. Neat to try in a sense, bit I’m lost on where the cachaa comes in, as this was apparently a cachaa barrel.

Basically black. Dark caramel head. Sticky brown sugar, more woody than the amburana. Has a nice sweet balanced character, with lots of roasty, chewy malts and a hint of alcoholic heat.

Quite black. Bubbly head. Rich chewy dark malts, light chipotle heat, but really this is straight fruity dum petro with minimal chile influence.

35cl via trade with Marko. BB 29/10/2017, batch# L08.

Bottle @ home via trade with Marlos during GABF. Deep black appearance with initially a large brown head but it dissipates pretty quickly. Aroma has some anise, Belgian chocolate, moderate roast, some dark fruit, and nice roasty malts. Body isn’t overly thick but it is pretty oily. Some piney, moderately bitter hops nicely balance the rich malt. Tons of dark chocolate and roasted grains. Light anise. Clean and very easy to drink for the high abv. Dangerously smooth. A pleasure to drink.
