0,33 flaske fra VP Stadionparken, hjemme en søndagskveld: uklar ferskengul med svært kort skum og lav karbonering. Fersken og pasjonsfrukt hele veien, lett syrlig og med flat munnfølelse. Frokostjuice med alkohol, burde ventet til i morgen tidlig med denne!

330ml bottle, batch #94, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsdalen. A pearl white head over a close-to-clear golden-brown body, spotty lacing. Restrained aromas of bread-like malts and herbal hops. Malt-fruity flavours of cereal malts, citrus, and a backdrop of leafy hops. Rounded ending containing moments of citrus shells, Soft on the swallow. Pretty fair. (Tromsø 14.03.2022).

330ml bottle, batch #99, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsdalen. A firm white tophead leaving clingy lacing on the glassware, hazy golden body. Moderate smell of mango and ripe lemon. Succulent fruity taste of pineapple and lemony drops. Mid-dry fruity ending, distant bitterness to it. Foamy in the mouth. Satisfying. (Tromsø 14.03.2022).

330ml bottle, #96, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Oslo Sentrum. Gusher! Beige head, patchy lacing, coal black in the glass. Restrained dark malty aromas. Dark malt-driven taste of liquorice and chocolate, lactose behind. Mid-sweet chocolate malts to the ending. Foamy on the swallow. Okay, rather anonymous stout. (Hotel room, Oslo 21.01.2022).

0,33 flaske fra Fristeriet i Lars Hertervigs gate, hjemme 1. nyttårsdag (min hemmelige julekalender må tømmes for å gjøre plass til nye overraskelser): brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Kaffe, mørkrøstet malt (og et hint av røykmalt) og en moccabønne eller to i en slank og behagelig maltkropp. Laktosen de har brukt har de heldigvis vært svært så sparsomme med. En lettdrikkelig ettermiddagsstout med mersmak, akkurat passe oppmuntrende før jeg går i gang med kveldens kjøkkentjeneste.
