On 01.02.2017, Nedstrand Bryggeri AS was founded, a small local microbrewery based in Nedstrand, in Tysvær municipality. The brewery collaborates with several local producers to raise awareness of the good flavors found in the regions, and to help place Tysvær and Nedstrand even more on the cultural map.
The beers take inspiration from the classic beer countries such as the USA, Belgium and England, and the guys don't skimp on the gunpowder when they brew. Only the best raw materials are used, and in generous quantities which help to provide a great richness of taste.

0,33 boks fra VP Bergen Storsenter, hos Håkon: lett uklar rødlig kastanjefarge med ok skum. Malt, brød, einer og julekrydder (kardemomme og muskat?). Litt emmen ettersmak. Fikk ikke opp stemningen hos meg i kveld, kanskje jeg bare er for trett.

Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is grassy, some mild earthy tones with some mild biscuity tones. Flavour is grassy, some bitterness, mild grapefruits with a bit chewy, but sweet malts. Not the freshest.

330 ml slimline can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Slightly hazy chestnut colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of caramel, brittle and brown bread. Flavour with the same elements, hints of roasted nuts, moderate hop bitterness.
