Description
On 01.02.2017, Nedstrand Bryggeri AS was founded, a small local microbrewery based in Nedstrand, in Tysvær municipality. The brewery collaborates with several local producers to raise awareness of the good flavors found in the regions, and to help place Tysvær and Nedstrand even more on the cultural map.

The beers take inspiration from the classic beer countries such as the USA, Belgium and England, and the guys don't skimp on the gunpowder when they brew. Only the best raw materials are used, and in generous quantities which help to provide a great richness of taste.

Can. A clear quite pale golden colored beer with a small white head. Very gentle aroma, sort of candy-ish, with pale malts, grass and a flowery hint. It's thin on the palate, dry and nicely carbonated, with a very gentle bitterness. Grass, pale malts, flowers and some pine cones in the flavor. Quite short finish. Sort of refreshing in the summer heat, but dull as hell. 240810

Drukket på Lillehøgda. Stråfarget. Uklar. Middels høyt skum som daler raskt. Aroma av einer & malt. Smaken mest einer. Hint av harpiks. Litt søt. Beskjeden bitter avslutning.

--Canned, from Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge, Oslo. -- Clear pale golden, mid sized head. Spicy grassy hops followed by fruity malt. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Solid, fruity malt. Distinct spicy hops, notes of spruce. Mid bitter finish. Much more dortmunder than a pilsner. Pleasant nevertheless.
