16/3/2026. Draft at The Barrels Pub Konyaaltı, Antalya. Took longer than Guinness to settle, but settles fine. Aroma is ashy, milk chocolate, caramel, camp coffee, nutty biscuit, hint of Baileys. Medium sweet, mild roasted bitterness. Hint of plastic. Moderate body, quite smooth, light carbonation. Liked it apart from the slight plastic edge on the taste.

15/3/2026. Can bought at Özbaylar Market, Antalya Old Town. Enjoyed from the can by the sea. It’s malty and boozy but quite smooth and enjoyable. Not harsh at all. I’m getting a taste for these boozy gems.

15/3/2026. Can bought at Özbaylar Market, Antalya Old Town. Enjoyed back in the BnB’s garden. Decent pour. Aroma is malty, caramel, grassy, grainy, hints of coffee and honey. Medium sweetness, medium bitterness, slightly metallic. Moderate body, quite smooth, average carbonation. Cut above majority of the Turkish commercial brews I’ve tried.

15/3/2026. Bottle at Sunset View Restaurant, Antalya. Pours well. Malty, sweet, caramel, grassy aroma. Fairly sweet, moderate bitterness and body. Quite lively. Decent in the heat here (and it’s only March).

15/3/2026. Can bought at Balik Pazari Gida supermarket, Antalya. Enjoyed back in the room. Türkiye rating #50. Pours well. Actually quite a drinkable example of the style. Smooth with some decent flavour. Not harsh or metallic. Liked it. Is that worrying?
