Bottle (at a quite brutal price at Monks Café Wallingatan, but I was up for something that could beat Mongozo in being bad as for banana). Quite pale yellowish golden colour with small white head. Aroma is quite much wheat with some banana and mild notes of herbs. Flavour is quite much the same, but more wheaty and herbal than bananaish. Mild yeasty notes as well.

Bottle. A clear, pale golden beer with a small, off-white head. Weak nose with sweet pale malts and fruits. Sweet, malty flavor with a fruityness, but not much bitterness. Medium body, almost sticky, and nicely carbonated. Short, sweet and fruity finish. A touch of bitterness too. There’s something reminiscent of rubber all the way, but very vague. A beer certainly made to sell because of the World Championship, not to be good tasting. 101009

Bottle. A clear, chestnut beer topped by a dense, beige head of moderate size. Sour, berry-like aroma with some burnt rubber, butterscotch notes, some faint coffee and a cheesy touch. Port salut springs to mind. It’s sticky on the palate, medium bodied, with flavors I really don’t want to have in my mouth again. Still, it’s not horrific. Berries, rubber, roasted malts, burnt plastic, butterscotch and malt extract. A strange herbal touch too. Sugary finish with the same flavors found in the initial flavor. I like the berries and the sour notes, else it’s not near drinkable. 101006
