Tap@sbwf14. Pale golden, thick white head. Nice fruity, Belgian yeasty, spicy aroma, elderflower perhaps? Flavor has asphalt, grain, some spicyness. Very dry, mouth drying. Wood fills the finish. Not for me.

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet, Verksgata: klar strågul med hvitt filmskum. Tørr, fin aroma av koriander, pepper og citrus. Sprudler i munnen og etterlater en godt gane. Smaken domineres av pepper og krydder i godt selskap med litt kvae. Akkurat passe tørr.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Dyp rubinrød. Lavt lysebrunt skum som flater nesten helt ut. Beskjeden aroma av røstet malt. Lite kullsyre. Smaken har et beskjedent preg av kaffe og framstår vassen. Litt sedimenter igjen på flaska.

330ml bottle, 5.5 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Dark amber coloured body, unclear. Decent fawn-coloured head, dissipating, leaving fragile lacing behind. Wood and pine on the nose. Dark malty flavours in an unusual mix with pine needles, wood and butter. Short bittersweet ending. Thin to medium bodied. Drinkable, but rather disjointed. Indeed, a shot in the dark (Tromsø 09.09.2014).

Pours slightly hazy reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, green apples, yeast and phenols. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a hint of licorice finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

[ As CAP Great White Hype IPA ].Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, citrus, light to moderate yeasty, bubble gum, grape. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, hoppy, citrus, grass, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140830]

330 ml bottle. Golden body with a small tan head. Medium strong aroma of malt, bread and some berries. Flavor is sweet, fruity and quite pleasant bitterness. Medium body and decent aftertaste. Nothing really specially, but totally OK and rather enjoyable.
