Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of sweet caramely malts, some fruity hops and grapefruit. Taste is sweetish, a bit sticky caramely malty with hints of fruits and hops. Finish is malty and musty with hints of sweet caramels. A bit unbalanced and doesn’t feel very fresh.

Pours clear orange with a smooth head. Aroma of gooseberries, hops, malts and caramel. Taste is smooth, bitterish and grassy with loads of gooseberries. Finish is dry and sweetish with bitter hops and fruits. A bit unbalanced IPA.

Aroma has gooseberry bush, some citrus, biscuits and some floury notes. Flavour has bun dough, yeasty notes, fruity hops and some grapefruit. The fruits are nice, but this is a bit musty.

Aroma has cocoa, some nuts, butter and nettles. Flavour has salty licorice, some soy sauce and herbal notes. Also some peaty whisky notes. Too salty but not bad still.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 3 Oct 2013) Black colour with brief, frothy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with freshly roasted coffee, dark chocolate and pine needles. Malty, roasted taste with notes of strong fresh coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread and a solid resinous bitterness in the finish. Full body, with balanced sweetness. Excellent stout with lots of fresh coffee (from my favourite coffee roasters as well) and dark chocolate, and alcohol fairly well hidden. Stunning stuff!

Sample at Kristiansand Ølfestival. Black colour with a beige head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, hop, chocolate. Flavour is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, hop. Full body. Very nice beer.

Sample at Kristiansand Øl festival. Deep golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is malt, hop, fruit, caramel. flavour is sweet, malt, hop, grapefruit, alcohol, caramel, grain. Could be more.
