750 ml "champagne" bottle, as Andersen Sur Lie Æble Brut, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 11.5%. Based on Danish Belle de Boskoop apples. Clear pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a shortlived white head. Aroma of apples and apple kernels, hints of nuts. Bone dry flavour, "brut" indeed. Notes of apples, hints of citrus and nuts. Must be good with food, but hardly worth the high price.

750 ml bottle, as Andersen Sigrid Æble Brut, batch #030500, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 11.5%. Apple varieties are Ingrid Marie, Belle de Boskoop and Jonagored. Clear and very pale straw colour, pours vigorously sparkling with a huge but shortlived white head. Pleasant aroma of lagered and oxidised winter apples, hints of oak and sulphites. Fizzy and slightly citric mouthfeel. Apple flavour mid between dry and sweet, noticeable alcohol. Good, but overpriced.

Pale golden colour. Pours sparkling with a huge but shortlived white head. Distinct aroma and flavour of Ingridmarie apples, hints of oak and sulphites.

750mL bottle at Holm, pours a clear golden. Aroma brings out light sweetness, gentle funk, and treacle. Flavour reveals tart green apples, light toffee, and a bit of rotting notes. Tart and wild. Complex and wonderfully balanced. Excellent.

750mL bottle at Holm, pours a clear golden. Aroma brings out light sweetness and gentle funk. Flavour is moderately sweet, with medium acidity - the sweetness overpowers the acidity though. My least favourite of the Andersen ciders I sampled.

Dark yellow colour. Powerful apple aroma. Intense fantastic semi sweet apple flavor. Long fantastic finish. Oily palate. Great.
