Amber with a light tan head. Malty, toasted, light citrus, fresh fruits. Medium bodied. A very toasty amber with a side of fruits. A nicely seasonable amber.

Black pour with very minimal head. Rich malty notes, toasted malts, roasted malt, dark fruits, earthy, PX notes, oak. Medium bodied. Finish is dry with sherry and dark malts. Out of the two, this is the better of the anniversary stouts. The PX works much better than the Oloroso. I just wish there was more carbonation and a slightly fuller body. Still, it’s nice.

Black with very minimal, bubbly head. Plenty of Oloroso Sherry right up front followed by light molasses, some chocolate, faint roasted notes, dark ripe fruits, dates. Full, oily body. Finish has more Oloroso and fruit. Could use a bit more depth and complexity that would be more apparent with more carbonation but it’s a nice beer.

Tap. Murky black, small head. Licorice, robusta beans, lemon, pepper, leather, earthy notes. Dry sourness, dry roasty bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry roasty bitter finish. Quite nice, not so amateur-like.

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Rick. Hazy amber with a white head. Nice citrus aroma. Taste is sweet at first but the finish is really bitter, in a good way. Very nice 'old school' IPA. Well done.

50 cl. bottle @ home, gift from and shared with Rick. Hazy dark amber with a white head. Hoppy citrussy aroma. Sweet taste with a bitter undertone. Too dark to be be a pale ale but who really cares, it's tasty enough.
