Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 03/04/21. Clear golden to light copper with a well presented just off white cap that dissipates to a healthy swirl. Nose is orange peel, caramel, sweet malts, grass, mixed tropical fruits. Taste comprises bitter orange, pine needle, soft malts, melon, grapefruit, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced light juicy hop bitterness. Ok IPA ... having just had a good Nelson laden IPA this is very much a poor mans version with modest hopping in comparison.

Clear pale amber with a frothy white head, and an aroma of stewed tropical fruit. There's a slight caramel sweetness to the flavour before slightly bitter hops and tropical fruit pull through and balance it all out, with medium carbonation offering a slightly spritzy and grainy mouthfeel, drinks well below its strength.

Can from Beerr 52. Has a fresh fruity aroma featuring pineapple. Pours a golden yellow with a lively but transient white head. Tropical fruits again in the mouth, with grapefruit, pineapple and tangerines to the fore. But still enough traditional hoppiness to counteract the alcoholic strength – rhough a hint a “mega lager” metallic remains. Finish is fruity but not overdone. More citrus than I normally go for, but a very well balanced beer all round.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A slightly hazy amber pour with a loose off-white head and persistent carbonation; aroma of pineapple and tropical fruit; mellow tropical fruit taste, nicely balanced between the sweetness of mango and lychee and the tartness of gooseberry; then a long slow bitter finish and a gentle warmth in the throat. Good stuff.

330ml can from Beer52: BB 31st Jan 2022. Drank at home on 6th Mar 2021. This was the last beer of a mega tasting session with my wife and son, I had this all to my self, they had given up and stopped drinking. Misty golden body, off-white topping. Tropical fruit nose and taste with a semi-sweet/semi-sour feel overall, couldn't really pick up on the advertised 'Gooseberry, Pineapple or Passionfruit' aromas and flavours. Decent though!
