Keg draught at the Lamb & Flag, Leeds. Light to mid-gold, hazy with a small film of white head. Iced tea and stone fruit notes in the aroma, some citrus peel in the mix. Balanced taste, but tastes almost acidic and artificial mid-sip. Peach and tangerine notes add a sweetness to the finish. A bit weird but good overall.

Can from ASDA Supermarket, Manchester. Hazy golden with a small frothy head. Citrus is evident and dominant but not too active, which allows some of the gooseberry through. It's full bodied with its strength obvious too.

Keg at Head of Steam, Cardiff. Hazy yellow with a white head and a middling fizz. Vague tropical notes. A bit watery. Mild bitterness in the finish. It's a bit insipid, especially when compared to their pils that I'd had just before. Bored now.

Keg at Head of Steam, Cardiff. Clear gold with a white head and a middling fizz. Fresh and leafy, some grass, a solid biscuitty base and a crisp finish. Very refreshing on a hot day - I'm not normally a lager fan but I enjoyed this one. Nice one!

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Dark brown colour, beige foam head and aroma of biscuit, woody oak, vanilla, red wine. Taste is sweetish, malty, vanilla, oaky, woody, with some dried fruits, red wine notes and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry oaky bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Can from an Amble grocer. As DIPA Dab at 8.3, but it's a sherbet lemon DIPA. Pours murky orange with a thin white head. Aromas of the lemon sweets as promised. Taste is light sour, sweet lemon. Sweet finish. Hides the booze well.
