12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank hops, herbal notes and biscuity malt. Flavour is full of vegetables, herbal hops, oxidized notes, and bready malt. Lots of cabbage and bitterness. No good.

Draft pour at Barley Forge, Costa Mesa. Reddish copper pour. Disappearing head. This beer seems to be a miss for me, despite it sounding amazing. A bit of a cherry soda taste, but watered down. Slightly tart. Medicinal. Herbal. Sharp taste. Black cherry. Really odd. I dont understand what they were going for here, but it could have been worse.

Draft pour at Barley Forge, Costa Mesa. This must be the fine line between stout and sweet stout. This is rich. Tastes like German Chocolate cake. Creamy. Overwhelming coconut cream. Too sweet. Touch soapy as well. I might like the nitro a little better. Not bad, but wish this was a little more bold.

Draft pour, enjoyed at Barley Forge. Really fun brew to enjoy as the first beer from these guys. Thick, chocolate brown pour. Pure coffee nose, super inviting. Bold roast, coffee, vanilla, caramel, and chocolate. Maple is definitely there, but less of a bourbon maple, as expected. Really smooth imperial. Super tasty.

The Aromas are coconut cocoa roast with dark malt in the background. Flavors are like nose, strong Bitter Sweet with sweet upfront and a heavy bitterness on the tongue that lasts through the Finish. The coconut is kind of heavy, stronger than I would prefer personally. Nice beer but not quite balanced.
