Bottle at home. Aroma of vanilla, wheat, spices, cinnamon, dough, ginger, light citrus. Flavour is medium sweet. Body is medium. Not to my liking at all, this weird and a bit unpleasant spicy vanilla wheat beer.

Bottle at home. Aroma is grainy malt, straw, a bit bready, hint of yeast, noble hops. Flavour is light sweet and over moderate bitter. Body is medium. Rather straightforward, grainy, lacks depth but drinkable.

Bottle from Perry's Liquors in Livermore, CA. Pours very dark brown with a large foamy beige head. Aroma of dark malt and honey. Med body or a bit more. Flavor is berries, coriander, earthy dark malt. Honey on my lips. Fairly towards dry. Moderately bitter. Rather earthy. Has a mild honey hit in the finish. Not calling this sweet tho. Not at all. Tasty in a different way.

12 oz can poured. I brought a six pack of this back from my trip to Orange County, and much to my surprise, especially within the style, they seem to be getting better after each can. Solid golden pour, slight hazy, thin fizz head. Aroma is a bright citrus hop quality, with slight boozy impressions. Flavor is smoother than aroma may indicate. Caramel like malts sit underneath a ripe fruit rind like hop character. Flavor is interesting. I remember being bothered by a vegetal hop character my first taste of this at the taproom, and even the first can I cracked out of the pack, but the last two cans seem to have that feature absent. Cant explain it really, but the product I get out of this can, and the last one or two, is quite the exceptional imperial.
