Bottle at home. Aroma of vanilla, wheat, spices, cinnamon, dough, ginger, light citrus. Flavour is medium sweet. Body is medium. Not to my liking at all, this weird and a bit unpleasant spicy vanilla wheat beer.

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy straw color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of spice, orange and wheat. Light-bodied with flavors of coriander, fruity yeast, wheat and malt. The finish is wheaty and mildly spicy. Slightly above average overall.

Bottle@yesprs - Golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is herbal hoppy, light malty, fruity, with some very strange medicinal taste in the finish. Not great.

The Pigs Ear wrap up tasting at ChrisO’s. Light haze on this gold beer, residual white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Thin pale malts, touch of creamy sweetness. Light semi dry finish. One dimensional and a little sweet.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-Xmas Tasting. It pours hazy light gold with a small white head. The nose is sweet, toasted malt, white bread, earth, grass, banana bread and cracker. The taste is bitter – sweet, toasty, green banana, cinnamon, cereal, creaminess and a touch of acidity with a dry, toasted finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A simple, but not unpleasant wheat beer.

Bottle split at Chriso pre Xmas tasting, 06/12/15. Yellow blonde with a moderate white swirl. Nose is plastic, honey, citric peel, bready vibes, pale malt, lemon rind, faint spice. Taste comprises floral notes, honey, melon, sweet and sour notes, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so ... overly sweet.
