Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown color with a medium light beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of yeast, fruit and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of Belgian yeast, dark fruit and caramel malt. The finish is slightly syrupy with a fruity yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a flat brown-black color with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of malt, coconut and fruit. Medium body with flavors of toasted coconut, tropical fruit and chocolate malt. The finish is roasty with a malt and coconut aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Light-bodied with a roasty malt character with flavors of milk chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
