Bottle, advent box. Black with an inch of tan head that gradually subsides. Chocolate brioche aroma with nectarine, oily coconut, pink grapefruit - actually a bit reminiscent of the first Dark Harvest. 8+ Silky but not heavy. Moderately sweet. No roasted flavours at all. Chocolate, coconut, some coffee, nectarines, grapefruit then gently spicy pine towards a modestly bitter finish. Some Sth Asian sweetmeat flavours are gradually revealed. Very good.

Can from their advent box. Unclear amber with a large white head that never disappears and laces well. Aroma of leafy herbs, very faint berries, light bread. Slightly jube-sweet but with balancing herbal and drying tart notes as well as some tropical fruit. Odd but good.

Thanks to Connor. Dark brown black beer lasting beige head. It's like snorting a line of cocoa. Deep chocolate bit single hit wonder one trick pony but entertaining

Can from their advent box. Very cloudy yellowish orange with a dense white coat of a head. More guava than passionfruit in the aroma at first then the sharpness of passionfruit comes through. Creamy texture. Moderately sour and a bit salty as well as fruity. Refreshing, nicely balanced.

Can, their advent box. Light brown with a head that's soon gone. Aroma of caramel, vanilla. But it's more beer like upon a sip, with light bread and spices other than vanilla that lift the sweetness away at the end but still leaves ice cream as an impression. Picks up after the unpromising aroma. Not my sort of thing but OK.

Can. Cloudy orange with a modest frothy white head. Aroma of citrus - orange with some grapefruit and lime - with pineapple and peach behind, light crackers. Light bodied, spritzy. Dry with crackers under stone fruit before sharpening citrus leads to a snappy bitter finish. Good dustcutter.

Clear bottle from their advent box. Arterial red with a slowly fading pink head. Aroma of lots of berries, some leafy detritus, oak. A bit of a bitter medicinal touch to the taste, which is quite funky and fairly dry with brooding berries and a woody finish.

Can. Just unclear amber with a cm+ of white head. Aroma of fresh bread, pine, some oranges and their blossoms. Some peach in the taste too before it turns to firm piney bitterness.

Can. Amber with a cream head. Aroma of brandy snaps, oak, bread. Medium bodied. Grapey and a little hot with lots of oak at the end. Expected more caramel and oxidised notes here following the but perhaps that would come in time.

Can (their Advent calendar). Opaque brownish orange with a fat white cap. Bright, Tang-like orange aroma with some crackers and hints of tropical fruit. Dryish with lots of orange and salt, light crackers. Not much mango - but that's fine by me. Not just refreshing - hydrating: really reminiscent of old fashioned salt drinks like Staminade. Not really my thing but it's nicely balanced.
