Bottle @ O Mpampas, Koukaki paired with meat variety plate. Pours dark amber with small foamy off-white head. Medium oily body, light carbonation, bitter finish. Nice smoky notes on the nose, hints of bacon, caramel, toasty grains, light hoppy presence. As I’m not much into smoked beer, I might not do it justice. Yet, it complimented our dinner in the best way possible. Good one.

Bottle from Maltby Street Market and drunk at home. Clear deep amber russet colour, lasting cream head. Some malt sweetness, some hop, a little perfume. I thought this was fine, not the greatest ipa in the world but drinkable enough, not too shabby, bitter and lasting hop on the finish, light pink grapefruit and a little herby spiciness on the finish.

Bottle from Maltby Street Market London. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Some esters some veg on the aroma. A little orange a little herb a little soap. Some good orange flavour. Ok carbonation. It’s quite a sweet intense fruity Belgian wit. Challenging but had enough to keep it interesting.
