Can 18/05/2024 Malmö May 2024 tasting at Palace Hall - vibrant fruity notes of pineapple and grapefruit, light berry fruity accents, sweet malty support, citrus orangey tangy edge into the hoppy finish. Works well.

On tap at Beer Zombies, Vegas. Hazy, pale orange, frothy pour. Sulfur & orange nose. Taste is prickly orange & nasty peanut earthiness. Old & dirty. Frothy, boozy, sloppy. Nah.

I got this as I loved Creepshow as a kid and didn’t know anything about the beer. Beer Zombies Hopshow 2 Double hazy IPA 8.3% Lovely golden cooor with thick off-white foam that leaves soapy lacing. Dank overripe fruit is the aroma. The taste is similar then goes skunk weed dankly bitter. This was on sale so I’m guessing it’s past it’s best. I find it unbalanced and disjointed but not actually bad. I’m guessing it was much juicier when fresh. Awesome label though.

Smell of spruce, blackcurrant leaves. Hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, spruce, some mint. Lively carbon. Bitter.

Light gold pour. Thin foam. Sweet flavor of citrus with hint of juice and flowers. Medium bodied and medium carbonation.

Lemon zest, honey, lilly nose, some DMS. Clear golden, medium head. Limoncello, nail polish, lilly. Full body, easy carbonation, warm.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is grapefruit, some pineapple, mild resin and spruce tips. Flavour is fruity, nectary and some tropical fruit juice concentrate along with some oats and mild biscuity tones too.

Tangerine, canteloupe, apricot, biscuit malt, pine, and grapefruit peel aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with giant white head. Moderately sweet melon, apricot, orange, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Good body.

ABV: 9.666%. Cloudy - hazy looking medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, sweet fruit, umami, candied fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, candied fruit, fruity hops, hops bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20240502]
