Bottle shared by Brian, thanks! Pours a hazy amber brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains with some fruits, a bit of wine and some toffee supporting. Flavor combines sweet grains and light fruits with some oaky wine with some flora supporting.

Pours a muddy, copper-brown, with minimal head. Aroma is full of malt, alcohol, and fruit. Flavor has some vanilla, caramel, dark fruit, and some booze, though this is fairly well-hidden. Not overly sweet, this is very drinkable stuff.

Bottle at THT with massive thanks to kermis. Very stouty bourbon barleywine. Nice and thick and sweet. Caramels, on top of chocolate and vanilla, laced with marzipan. Very sweet with silky smooth mouthfeel. Backlog from 2015/11/27.

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours a cloudy dark brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong rye, bourbon, wood, vanilla. Medium mouth, strong whiskey, rye, dark fruit, very hot.

Bottle at THT thanks to kermis. Black with short lasting light brown head. Bourbon, coffee, roasted grains, marzipan, bitter spices, old wood, brown sugar, Porto wine, fresh herbs. Quite sweet with roasted bitter finish. Full bodied with soft carbonation and slight alcohol. Nice.

Tap at Steel Toe. Brown color and a nice white head. Lots of hops for the style, in the aroma at least. Hood flavor, mod r ste roast and a ton of hops here as well. Chalk, earth, dry grass, some earth. Very dry throughout and into the finish. A brown ale cannot get much better.

Sampled from a bottle. Black color. Aroma has moderately roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is a blend of hops, bitter, dry malt and some more coffee here also good for a black ipa.

Bomber. Pours a wonderful jet black color with a large light brown creamy head. A great nose of metal, dark fruit, heavy roast. Oats make this very creamy and full, big dark chocolate, some lactose, the roast is pretty heft, metallic lingering licorice and bitter hop notes. Lovely beer. Yeah, 7% big old stout is my kind of beer.
