375 ml bottle thanks to Aramchandler. Thanks buddy! Clear golden appearance.,thin mild head. Soft carbonation. Aroma is lightly botanic with some lime peel, lemon notes, and funk. Flavor has a huge gin character. A mega ton of lime and lemon. Whoa! Jeez. It drinks more like a cocktail than a beer. Interesting...

375ML. Shared 3 ways. Stored upright for a few months. Excellent clarity. Looks like a ultra filtered peach / kiwi juice. the aroma is bright, juicy, really vibrant with a spicy juniper and effervescent. Whoa. Spice! Botanicals up to 11. Is this still old tom cat? Has a really great woody nature, loads of botanicals, ginger root, juniper. honey, grapefruit, citrus. Very tasty. Gin is an interesting addition.

750mL batch 2 bottled March 2014, drunk 2/8/18. Good clarity to this well-carbonated, deep bronze-copper-brass-golden beer. Still a large, white, well-retained head. Maltier than usual in the nose and extremely Brett-forward with light acetic and even, soft oak and lactic character. Malts seem pillowy and supple behind everything with a touch of cereal character, as well. Well-balanced and no alcohol or flaw. In the mouth it's still lively and perfectly carbonated. Great balance with tons of cherry and lime-like Brett notes. Has gained some lactic sourness over time and comes off more as a sour/wild ale with the saison characters now obscured, especially by the strong oak presence. No alcohol or flaw with a rich, creamy texture, great malt character and lingering lactic acidity and oak. 750mL batch 3 bottled December 2014, drunk 1/14/23, thanks Willrunforbeer! Clear brassy-maize-copper. Small, white head. BIG brett nose, oh yeah. Lots of bready malt, of course with big vanilla. Lemon and vanilla...no alcohol. Ok this is probably well past its prime. Soft, malty, lots of vanilla, pepper and bread. Malty, oxidized, bready. Eh, this is good and fruity and bretty but just too old with some bile and such.

Bottle from A la Biere Comme a la Biere, Paris, in garden, 2nd June 18. Pours a lovely light straw colour, neat frothy head. Aroma is funk, musk, citrus. Taste is tart, lime for sure, a little orange sweetness, bitter and sour finish, with musk, funk and maybe a floral hint. Impressive and refreshing.

Tap. Bright red with a small white head that lasts OK. Aroma - almost dry meadow, some hedgerow berries, rose hips, old lemon. Dry and a little tart with berry skins / stemmy woodiness some spices. Lowish carbonation. Not really funky. Never seems thin; is dry with just the impression of almost honeyed floral notes. Hints of wildness held well in check. Great.

Tap at Moeder Fontainas. Pours cloudy darkish pink. Aroma is rubber, hibiscus indeed, little elderflower. Body is light, softly sour and tart, little yoghurt, fizzy carbonation. After all these lambics today, the non-funk sticks out the most. Good!
