Bottle from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Aroma is tart fruits with citrus, hoppy notes, light funk, grass, light pale malt, touch of stone fruit and pineapple. Tart and medium sour flavour with a noticeable hoppy bitterness, finishes quite dry. Body is medium. Tasty meeting of fruity hop and Sour, delicious actually.

Can from Beer52. Semi hazed orange-gold with decent white foam, nice lacing. Very juicy aroma with citrus, mango, apricot as well as a leafy note. Taste has a nice soft peach, mango, orange, lime, light dankness and bitterness. Pillowy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Impressive.

Can from Beer52. Pours black with brief tanned head, somewhat of a cola fizz going on. Aroma of big coffee notes, some chocolate and moderate sweetness, light earthy hops; promising. Taste of chocolate, touch of caramel, coffee, bittersweet and creamy finish with lactose noticeable as well as a mild pine noted hop. Medium body, part way between smooth and chewy, part-cola like fizz which is distracting for the style. Tasty but somewhat flawed which is a shame as there is the makings of a great beer here.

Can from Beer52. Hazy orange gold with consistent small white top. Citrus, overripe sweet tropical and herbs on the nose. Taste wise its showcasing fruity and earthy. Quite herbal with citrus zest tang, weed, some softer tropical notes. Soft mouthfeel, fine carbonation. Slightly too herb like for my personal preference but it certainly has interesting character and a lovely mouthfeel.

[33cl can from Beer52, brewed in the EU for Strange Brewing.] A glossy opaque peat brown coloured pour with a loose pale tan head; gentle coffee aroma; coffee taste with a fruity bitterness and a silky smooth mouthfeel; then some sour cherries in the finish. A rather good coffee stout.

Cloudy golden beer with a thick white head. Aroma is packed with pine and grapefruit. Flsvour follows suit. Resinous pine, grapefruit, bitter citrus, grassy hop. Bittersweet fruit lingering into the finish. Delicious.

On tap at Strange Brewing, pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma reveals a nice buggy character, with soft floral dry-hopping, and wood, and traces of phenols. Flavour unfortunately brings out the phenols upfront along with the wood, with plenty of bugs, soft dry-hopping, and finishing with the phenols. Not too bad—it shows promise but they need to clean this up.
