On tap. Pours black with little head. Aromas of rich dark chocolate, nougat and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with bitter dark chocolate, a touch of lactose and marshmallows. Great stuff.

Bottle, shared at Doghouse Manchester. Pours oily black with a slim tan head. Aroma: sweet roast malts, chocolate, coffee, vanilla. Taste: heavy sweet & light to moderate bitter, slick, chewy, roasted malts, chocolate, sweet marshmallow. Medium to full body with low carbonation. Big beer, definitely a sipper at 17%

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - deep amber with a beige head. A bit lively. Nose - toffee, not quite right. Taste - tangy toffee and light clove spice. Palate - medium bodied and tangy texture. Overall - good base but not sure it was 100% what the brewer intended.
