(500 ml can). Another beer brewed by Aass Bryggeri, Drammen, in the name of long gone Lundetangen Bryggeri, Skien. Norwegian "summer beers" (= very light pilseners) are generally the work of the devil - this one is far from the worst of its kind. Light golden colour, moderate head, aromatic hops are not too bad (Saaz?), very light bodied (of course), clean taste (as far as there is any taste at all), not much bitterness / aftertaste. A thirstquencher for a hot summer's day - if there are no better beers around.

(500 ml can). Light golden colour, reasonably good head. Fruity and slightly yeasty aroma. Light bodied, little flavour except some bitterness that becomes metallic in the end.

(Bottle + can). Another "draught" beer in a can, slightly darker and maltier than Husets Pilsner. Not too bad for a cheap beer. Contract brewed for Coop Norge (cooperative Norwegian grocery stores).

(Bottle + can). Contract brewed for Coop Norge (Norwegian cooperative grocery stores). Standard golden pilsener, nothing offensive, nothing to be happy about.

(Bottle). Light (which in Norway means ABV not above 2.5%) beer, contract brewed for Norgesgruppen (Norwegian grocery stores) by Christianssands Bryggeri, part of the Hansa-Borg group. Looks like a pilsener, less aroma, flavour and aftertaste. I've had this beer many times with dinner when I had to drive afterwards (and it's dirt cheap!), no offensive taste but definitely not a beer you'd buy to enjoy on its own.

(Bottle). Contract brewed for Norgesgruppen (Norwegian grocery stores) by Christianssands Bryggeri, part of the Hansa-Borg group. Typical uninteresting industrial pilsener, nothing offensive but very little to make you happy.

(500 ml can). This beer is named after the founder of Aass, Norway's oldest working brewery. Typical pilsener colour and aroma, good head, quite refreshing, nice bitterness. A decent pils, no more, no less.

Nice hop aroma together with a bit honeyish malt. Beautiful red amber, good creamy head. aromahops and malt fit well together. A bit watery finish. Thanks Sigmund!

Bitterhop and burned colormalt, slight soapyness though. Dark chestnut brown, ok head. Chokolaty and burned tastenotes. I like the agressive bittering hops that go with it. Nic bubbly mouthfeel and a bitter and burned aftertaste. Thanks Sigmund!
