Crazy Clown is a gipsy/contract brewery founded by two slightly crazy people who enjoy extravagance, good quality beer and who really dislike boredom and mediocrity. So we have decided to break new ground in Czech craft breweries with some guts to create crazy things... But we dont want to babble out everything at the beginning.

Tap at Zil verne. Delivers what it promised. Bold sour cherry presence, not overwhelming, but assertively there, with natural feeling and light sourness/tartness. The overall aroma reminds a bit of cola, with moderate biscuity nutty maltiness and yeast-derived phenolics. A hint of roast. Full body, heavy bold flavours, yet well balanced and easy drinking. Another one well done!

Tap at U Klauna. Clear, very pale golden body. Huge herbal aroma, myrtle, light caramel. Tart, lean, lightly yoghurty body, big herbal notes, light... odd undertones, nothing too fishy about it, but it wasn't bound to be. Like the first version, this is just a very good gose.

Tap at U Klauna. Thanks Alyona! Dark brown body, off white head. Aroma... err... olives, light cherries, light chocolate... not really attractive. Smooth, silky taste, dry caramel, very light cherries, some more malty notes, quite okay, but not more.

Tap at U Klauna. Murky orange body, white-ish head. Tropical notes mixing with mild but paint-like pehnols. Lean, smooth taste, passionfruit, glue/paint phenols... but as time goes, the passionfruit/mango mix comes up and the yeast-driven less than great phenolics disappear so it's in the end fairly tasty.

Tap at U Klauna.... murky headless beige body. Looks... nah, sorry, 1 star. The garlic owns the aroma, with dill coming up and some lactic notes showing up too. VERY not beery but... oh wow... the taste... the taste actually makes sense. Dill and bready notes, light cucumber, light garlic undertones, some yogurt-like lactic touches and a light tartness. Highly drinkable really. The idea sounds terrible, this looks terrible but man... without a single doubt, this is an excellent experiment. I don't like cucumbers, I am highly unimpressed by dill, and I avoid garlic like a vampire, but this, this actually works. The Clown won this one!
