24/1/2026. Bottle at ITFC Beer share. From the Norwich Arts Centre fundraiser following the World Beer Awards. Nice pour. Very grainy aroma, a bit wet, sweet, stewy and malty. Bittersweet taste, a little unpleasant metallicness. Quite lively. Not great.

The third of my 500 ml cans from Yamaya. Clear, bright gold with a medium head. Fruity, malty nose, citrus, some stone fruit, bread. Sweet, tangy flavor, quite estery, with orange and apricot notes. A bit of cardboard. Somewhat flat. Not as good as the other two. Condition is not really up to par.

500 ml can from Yamaya. They recently started selling 4 different beers from this brewery, all new to Japan. Deep golden color with a low, thick head. Toasty malt in the nose, biscuits, light, spicy hops. Malty flavor, slightly sweet, biscuits, herbal hops, bitter finish. Some fruity notes too, orange and a touch of melon. Just a bit of oxidation, but not too bad.

500 ml can form Yamaya. Deep gold to amber color with a medium head. Toasted malt nose, a touch of caramel, herbal hops, light citrus. Rich malty flavor, toast, slightly nutty, some caramel. Spicy hops, some resin. Crisp, bold bitterness. Coming close to an amber lager, but very Czech in style, both malt and hops. Darn good condition for a canned lager imported to Japan. Dry hopping is not so evident, but overall very hoppy. Just a touch of oxidation.

Very worty, does not feel fermented at all. Ample bitterness and grassy, flowery hops char, but once again, feels raw, worty. Overall, well not tragic, just unbeery, raw. Average-good.
