Clear red brown beer. Crisp semi dry palate. Light malt with just enough depth of flavour. Roastiness and bitterness are absent. Small amount of hop fruit. A brief banana note and some minerally zing to finish off. Nice beer.

500 ml brown bottle, a gift from gunnar, thanks. ABV is 5%. BB date 30.12.10. Golden colour, moderate white head. Strange aroma of cooked vegetables, decaying fruit, malts and dust. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour has much the same elements as the aroma, dry and dusty, pretty weird - but some fresh hops in the finish make the drinking experience more tolerable..

Clear dark brown beer. Crisp light palate. Pleasant mildly chocolate malt with just a touch of roastiness. A little fruity hop peeping through at the end. A superior dark lager!

Bottle. Dark, murky brown, small tan head, solid lacing. Aroma of chocolate and black pepper, and odd combination. Taste is like root beer mixed with lager, a very strange sweet and bitter combination that lacks balance.

Lahev: Clear, small and stable white foamy layer with a little lace; buttery and pale-malty nose with a nice "woody" hoppy background; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, not too light bodied; slightly lingering bitter-hoppy and pale malty finish. Not bad, just a bit thin.......
