Bottled. Golden colour with mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is sweet malts along with some metallic notes as well as quite much grass/hay. Flavour is sweet malts, quite much grassy and hayish hoppy notes. Quite clean and no metallic notes in the flavour at all.

Draught at Vinarna Hrozen, Plzen.
The fifth beer of the Vinarna Hrozen tasting at the RBESG 2008. Light hazy pale yellow coloured, medium sized white head, mild hoppy nose. Weak malty and hoppy taste with grainy and light herbal notes. A bit too watery moderate bitter finish.

Beer no.5 of the Vinarna Hrozen tasting at the RBESG Poured a murky lighter yelow body with a big thick white head that went away slowly. A nice light nose, hops and some maltiness. An elegant light malty background, notes of apples and herbal hop. A good, balanced light beer but far from astounding.

Bottled (BB 02/2009)
Dark ruby color, good creamy beige head, lace. Caramelly, a bit grassy-woody hoppy and sourish nose. Palate is quite watery. Caramelly sweetness and some toasted notes. Aftertaste is woody hoppy leaving long bitter flavor. Ok dunkel, could have another one.

Bottle from Morrisons, Banbury, Oxon, consumed 13-04-08 Warm gold with busy white head. I do like Czech beers and even though they are not all top notch this included they are often a step or two above the usual fare. Nice hoppiness to this that clings right to the finish, sweet malts are there but they’re trampled over by those hops and that drying finish, very nice.
