-brews all its beers according to the traditional double-mashed technology which means that the beer is fermented in open vats and lagered in horizontal lagering tanks for 40-60 days
-only uses the highest quality raw materials of Czech origin, namely Czech malts, Saaz hops and water from its own deep wells, to make the beer

Pour is a cola brown with a large tan head. Aroma is not much a minor roasted malt is all. Flavor is a slightly better roasted malt with a little ash on the back end. Pretty light all around Czech dark lager.

Pour is a clear dark gold with a large white head. Aroma is pale malt with a minor sweetness with some sulfur. Flavor is a pale malt, herbal hops and a sulfur yeasty. This was pretty good and right up there with Pilsner Urquell but a bit more on the sweeter side.

Appearance: Clear deep gold with a tall off-white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma: Cracker malt, toast, Saaz hop. Taaste: Light sweet, medium bitter. Clean. Good malt and hop. Nice hop profile. Mouth feel: medium body, average carbonation. Summary: Good.

From tap @ Česká pivnica restaurant in Bratislava. Head is big, white, good retention. Colour is gold, clear. Aroma is malty, bready, bit hoppy. Taste is medium malty base, nice balanced bitterness, bready, bit caramel, ok for the style, drinkable.

From tap @ Česká pivnica restaurant in Bratislava. Head is big, creamy, tanned, good retention. Colour is dark opaque. Aroma is malty, bit roasted tones, dark bread, bit hoppy. Taste is medium malty base, light roasted tones, dark bread crust, bit coffee, medium carbonation, caramel, ok for the style, enjoyed.

50cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours full brown, still fairly transparent, with fine whitish foam. Aroma is malty, a little earthy. Body is a little thin, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, still moderate, with a thin final.

Pour is more of a bronze with a large white head. Aroma is a wee bit of doughy malt. Flavor is more of a toasted malt but this is really watery. Kind of a czech lite beer.
