500ml dark green bottle brought back home from Budapest by Frau Eva, thanks. Tan head blanketing the glass. Deep, near mahogany coloured body. Smell of dark fruits and roasted malts. Dark and dried fruits in flavour supported by liquorice and a weak touch of alcohol. On the sweet side of a bittersweet ending. Has absolutely got its moments of joyful drinking (shared with Finn, Tromsø 01.12.2009).

God - men litt for søt. Ettersmaken er syrlig & søt. Et nytt land for meg!

500ml green can airborne from Budapest, thanks to Frau Eva. Loose, white head on top of a brilliantly clear, golden body. Fading aroma of sweet citric fruits mixed with grain. Malty flavour with a bite of sour grain. Dry, papery note to the ending. Soft in the mouth. Medium to thin bodied. Nothing special (shared with Eva at home in Tromsø, 02.10.2009).

Re-rate 3/8/12: Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Dark brown with a beige head. Malty aroma with some fruitiness, some chocolate, caramel, nutty notes and vegetal and acidic notes. Sweetish malty flavor with a bit of roastiness, chocolate notes, caramel and a finish that’s a tiny bit drier. Medium-bodied. Not bad. 5/3/6/3/13=3
[9/5/09] Bottle sample during LCRBM at Kulminator in Antwerp. Black-colored. Aroma of malt, grains and licorice. Sweet flavor of candies, sugar and licorice. Medium-bodied. 4/4/5/3/10=2.6

Small, yellow head over opaque dark brown beer. Sweet, watery maltnose with strong liquorice note. Sweet, bready beer with flavours, reminiscent of liquorice and bilberry. Pretty flat. Medium bodied at best. I suppose it’s OK, but I think I prefer Tokay Aszu...

0.5 l can courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured golden, slightly hazy body with big head which went down very fast. A bit skunky dusty and rubbery aroma. Flavor reveals some interesting orange hops, so, although thin, it’s relatively pleasant, don’t have that fake maltiness which turns to a rotten vegetable juice in most of NAs. Finish is a bit worser, again, slightly sour to bitter with some unpleasant note. Well, it’s still good for a NA.

0.5l can, Dreher 24, found in Budapest and shared with heavy. Poured a hazy (?) yellow-gold body with a medium-big head that went away fast. Sharp dust in the nose with some sweetish maltiness. Rubber too. Blah. The taste, however was a pleasant surprise at first. Despite being very, very watery, one could sense a nice, aromatic and kinda piney hopiness. What would be a remarkably good and actually tasty in a way n/a (despite (and because?) the lack of anything malty) is ruined in the end by a mild, bitter and persistant ugly rubbery bitter finish and it would seem that we’re not the only ones to notice it, interesting. Almost a good n/a. Almost.

Another victim of the trip from Zagreb to Split (Ball quality :/), recovered around 1dl from the punctured can, guess it has to be enough. Paaaale yellow body, no head for obvious reasons. Acidic nose with vinuous notes and grass. Ugh. Extremely watery, some light bready notes, some eggy notes, not the worst but still quite bad. And I reckon I’ll have to rerate it anyway in case the sample was "tainted" in any way.
