05/04 Well, well, who would say I would try my first Hugarian beer after my brewpub tour around northern Croatia. I caught a train from Budapest to Zagreb back and a great German mister whose name I forgot to ask offered me a 0.5 l can of this. So I thank him a lot, also for a plastic transparent glass from which I could see it very well :)
So it poured yellow body with medium head. Aroma was typical better macro pale lager, grass and lemony hops with some pale flowery malt. Flavor is much worser, bitterish, some ugly corn, very malty so also a bit sweet, which is better felt in the finish. Typical mass produced, miser pale lager, pilsener or whatever, well drinkable but nothing more than boring.

Canned(500ml). -Nice pale amber coloured, small tan head, malty metallic nose. Weak malt and caramelish taste with notes of hops and sugar in the finish. Watery palate and overall quite weak brew.

Canned. Pale yellow, smal head. Fruity nose with phenols and butyric acid. Sweet and thi with boiled vegetables and some vague soapy fruits. Lifeless and empty, no bitterness.

Can (BB 12/2007)
Pale yellow color, small white head. Lemon, corn and metal in the nose. Crisp carbonation - fizzy mouthfeel. Watery, notes of grain, metal and skunky corn. I didn’t expect much from Hungarian 3% beer and this one didn’t suprise me ...

Canned. Pale golden colour, not much head. Aroma is maize, soap and some skunkyness. Flavour is hops, maize, some rubber as well as some metallic and earthy notes. Watery.

0.5l bottle brought from Hungary by a friend (thanks Maja!) Poured a pale yellow-golen colour with a medium sized unimpressive white head. Fizzy. The nose isn’t all that stellar as well, dust and bad honey. The taste is quite empty, just some crude herbal hoppy bitterness, some lemon, and an utter lack of malt. Too one dimensional. Still, the bottle I’ve had might not have been in top condition and I might rerate it.

Can, thanks to papsoe for sharing. Clear, deep golden beer with some white head. Too grainy aroma, with some caramel and malt. Malty, grainy flavor as well, with some hops too. Thin to medium body. Decent at max. (070510)

(Can 50 cl) Courtesy of Doggythedog. Hazy, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Lightly caramelish aroma. Thin and watery body with notes of cardboard. Very subdued bitterness. 100507

A dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet metallic combined with notes of caramel - and so is the flavor too, leaiding to a dry bitter metallic end.
