Bit darker amber, clear before mixing, cloudy after. Smells something sweet and fruity, cherry, almond extract. Soft body, bit sticky, nothing thin but some boozyness. Taste is a touch sharp, bit of alcohol. Getting the almond but not much cherry remains.

One of Daniël s homebrews I still had laying around, fun times. Cherry is there, and the cocoa shows up too. Good and classic combination! The mead itself is a bit thin and alcoholic, but flavourwise it works fine.

Clear pale gold, looks thick, flat. Smells alcohol, super cheap whisky but softer. Thick and sticky body, fairly hot alcohol but nothing really hurting. Taste is just very sweet and alcohol. Not very tasty, but I'm sure I can kill some germs with it.

Slightly cloudy gold, looks fairly viscous. Smell is strong, whisky, peat, some sweetness. Body is light but not thin, fairly big heat of booze and peat hits you in the face. Some soft sweetness first, then sharp peat, ending on some smooth honey licorice. I really like the peat factor here, but maybe it could use some restraining, or a thicker body. Fun concept!

Bit cloudy pale gold, some sediment. Smell is eastern spices+ mostly clove, cinnamon and some ginger. Fair carbonation, otherwise light mouthfeel, no booze. Quite dry, with a good deal of spicyness. Very nicely balanced, all work together well. Fun.

Nice, clear orangey red, some soda carb. Smells lightly sweet, bit of honey, lots of raspberry. Light body, well carbed, makes it lighter. Taste is dry, some alcohol but mostly raspberry, bit of unfermented honey, some blue/blackberry. Fun, dangerous!

Almost clear, good yellow colour. Smells lightly floral, bit of alcohol, some honey. Soft mouthfeel, bit of alcohol heat, slightly thin but does linger nicely. Taste is sweet mead, lovely soft and subtle elderflower. Very nicely balanced, but bit thin.

Pours flat, peachy pink. Nice thickness in the glass. Smell has some alcohol, honey, light raspberry. Tastes raspberry first, followed by honey and lingering dryness. Somewhat sharp, but nothing major. Little bit thin and one-dimensional, but decent one!

Brewed 19/8/19, bottled 23/5/20. Lovely yellow colour, good thickness, smells slightly gingery, but very subtle. Some lime there too. Taste has some sweetness, and still some honey at the end. Ginger is lightly there, and works well with the citrus.
For somebody who hates ginger, I like this surprisingly well. Combination works, nice body, tad too much honey taste remaining. You feel slightly tingling alcohol, but it's not really there in the taste, dangerously well hidden. Excellent summer mead cocktail base.

Brewed 04/01/20, bottled 23/05. Very dark and caramelized colour, quite thin body. Smells alcoholic, deep caramelized, maple. Thin mouthfeel indeed, boozy. Tastes maple, really there but subtle. Chestnuts add depth, vanilla is hiding. Not too sweet. Nice!
