Description
Welcome to one of the most beautiful places in Stein.
For 14 years we, Rik & Lonneke Brouns, have been able to run a beautiful company here, De Fontein Brewery. A craft beer brewery and catering company in which taste experience and Limburg hospitality are paramount. We are in nature, we work with nature. Fruit from our own standard, herbs and fruits from our own vegetable garden, honey from our own bees, we use all of it. Will you come enjoy the beauty of the seasons with us? We produce more than 40 different types of speciality beers. We brew a variety of seasonal beers, where possible using ingredients we produce ourselves while taking account of classic beer flavours.

33cl bottle from Jumbo supermarket in Stein, Nethelands. F: thin, tan, very quick gone. C: dark amber, hazy. A: malty, light sour fruity, bit caramel, bit spicy. T: medium malty backbone, light sour fruity, caramel, bit spicy, medium body and low carbonation, bit warming alcohol, what was the idea here? Meh not good at all.

T: dark malts, cocoa, bit dark dried fruits, caramel, bit toffee, chocolate, coffee touch, medium body and carbonation, quite simple all together, drinkable.

33cl bottle from Jumbo supermarket in Stein, Nethelands. F: medium, tan, quick diminishing. C: amber to coppery, light hazy. A: fruity, bit herbal, hint of smoked malts, spicy, citrus. T: light malty backbone, some vaguely fruity, smoked tones, bit spicy, caramel, medium body and lower carbonation, not bad, enjoyed.

Bottle at home, light amber, small head. Aroma is malt, herbs, gagel. Taste is the same, bitter, some sweetness, strong taste of gagel and some other herbs. Not bad.

Glass at the brewery, Dark orange beer, small head. Aroma wort, malt. Taste is the same, bitter, dry, slight sweet. Not bad but ipa?

Black beer, small head, aroma is malt, some vinous notes, coffee, chocolate, taste is the same, sweet with some bitter, not bad. Not bad at all.
