For 14 years we, Rik & Lonneke Brouns, have been able to run a beautiful company here, De Fontein Brewery. A craft beer brewery and catering company in which taste experience and Limburg hospitality are paramount. We are in nature, we work with nature. Fruit from our own standard, herbs and fruits from our own vegetable garden, honey from our own bees, we use all of it. Will you come enjoy the beauty of the seasons with us? We produce more than 40 different types of speciality beers. We brew a variety of seasonal beers, where possible using ingredients we produce ourselves while taking account of classic beer flavours.

Erfrischendes Wit! 8/8/10/10/10/9

Herb-hefiger, leicht trockener Antrunk. Wenig zitrus-bitter. 8/6/6/5/8/5

03/10/2010 - 75cl @ home Thanks to Anniek for the bottle!
Drank 2 months before expiration date
Pours a very murky yellow to orange beer with little flakes floating around in it. A fine laced white head, reduces quickly. Aroma has some banana, dead yeast, a little malt and caramel. MF is ok, medium body. Sweet start, both malt and sugar. Then hoppy and fruity continuation. Aftertaste is hoppy with some sweet and citrus. A very good tripel, but probably mostly due to it's age and the combination with refermentation in the bottle.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy deep golden with a small and creamy off-white head. Very strange aroma - chili comes to mind. Medium body, sweet and tart chili notes. Ends sweet. A somewhat strange beer. 110910
